Catch up on a company from public news

Ask about a company and get its recent news, a short profile built from public pages, or a summary of one announcement, with a link for each source. Your agent searches with Exa and can read one public page you choose with Firecrawl.

Copy one request into the agent you already use. Your agent asks you for the company first.

Ask me for a company name. Then find up to five news stories about it from the last 30 days. List each with its headline, link, publication date and one line on what happened, newest first. If you find fewer than five, say so.
Ask me for a company name. Then find its official website and two public pages that describe it, and give me a short profile: what it does, where it is based and when it was founded, with a link for each fact. Mark anything the sources do not say.
Ask me for the public HTML page of one company announcement, such as a press release. Then summarize what it announces, with its URL and the date you read it. If the page cannot be read, tell me and stop.
  • flovia_exa searches the public web with Exa, and can keep to news or company pages. By default, Exa returns up to 10 search results, each with cited excerpts of up to 1,000 characters. If your agent sets text_max_characters (1 to 12,000), each result comes with up to that many characters of its page’s text instead. Page text can be cut short or missing, and Flovia does not check that it is complete. A date range can leave out stories that have no publication date or a wrong one. Only your search terms and search settings go to Exa, so keep private or personal information out of them.
  • flovia_firecrawl reads a page as Markdown. Firecrawl reads one public HTML page, or the text of a public PDF (its first 10 pages), at a time, only from sites Flovia allows. Your agent can list the allowed sites first.

Use a source that appears in your agent’s current tool list. A source that is not listed is unavailable. Each lookup uses a little of your free allowance, or of your purchased balance when the free allowance cannot cover it. Free and paid use explains both.

The reply below is made up for illustration. Your replies carry your own values.

News about Example Co. from the last 30 days, newest first:

  1. Story A, published 2026-10-20: Example Co. opened a second office.
  2. Story B, published 2026-10-12: Example Co. named a new head of research.
  3. Story C, published 2026-09-30: an interview with its founder about hiring plans.

Links are left out of this example. I found three stories, not five.
